Oh, Society
For those others of you who've finished Daire and Kiron...
- Spoiler:
- Who else is worried about how society is secretly controlled by ancient techno-magic families and organizations?

Re: Oh, Society
....I don’t know how to actually respond to this but it made me laugh. Although truthfully
- Spoiler:
- both kaiser and Kaye weren’t even suppose to appear in this game initially. We were suppose to make it a simple just three main guy characters, ems, Maia and anabelle but it spiralled into what you see today. Are there hints of a secret society controlled by ancient techno magic? I do love your theory

Re: Oh, Society
I'd hoped it would
Hints enough to decide it's true? No.
Hints enough to make up some really good conspiracy theories? Absolutely.

- Spoiler:
- Secrecy: in Kiron's route there was that "everybody's lying" thing at the school festival, and at the rescue Jeff had to be knocked out to avoid explanations.
Ancient: Osiria says the way Calder and Sterling Houses talk is "old fashioned and formal," Reiyd seems to be a prince, and an ustrina is an ancient Roman cremation site.
Advanced technology and/or magic: glowy swords. Must be intrinsic somehow, since Siyan and Reiyd hadn't known they were going to go glowy sword. Presumably this combat stuff is part of the self-defense part of the training Azura is slacking on.
Society: Calder, Sterling, Keeper, and Ustrina know at least some of each others' secrets, and (willingly and unwillingly) trade members.
Controlling: while we don't know about the Houses, Keeper Inc is worryingly diverse and powerful. Conspiracy theory dictates this means the charity support is to distract attention from their nefarious plots. (Especially since Kaye has a frightening aura and the CEO is a recluse.)

Interesting analysis.
- Spoiler:
- Just remember that Erik has ties to Keeper Inc.
